THis worked for me and then I switched to a child theme and lost the formatting on the front page. When I tried to modify it again, all the sections disappeared. Can you let me know what I’m doing wrong? My site is faithcenterarts.site

Yes, I was looking at the documentation and I saw the portfolio shortcode but no indication on how that will work as one of the sections on the home page. Just entering the shortcode worked on a regular page, but it’s not displaying the portfolio in the front page section where I inserted it. I want to have multiple portfolios so the “location” portfolio items are the only category I want to display here. Please help? Thanks!
